Microsoft Exchange

Overview

To stay competitive in today’s business environment, you need sophisticated messaging tools that provide rich and efficient access to e-mail, calendars, contacts, and tasks. Now you can enjoy the benefits of business-class e-mail in a pay-as-you-go model that enables you to scale up or down as needed, minimizing your financial risk. Exchange Online can help you free up valuable capital, IT staff, and other costly resources for more effective, strategic use within your organization.

The Power of Choice

Because Exchange Server 2007 is available as a server product as well as a hosted service, you have the freedom to choose the right deployment option for your business. Whether you deploy an Exchange Server on-premises, host your mailboxes with Exchange Online, or combine these two options in a hybrid deployment, your employees will have the messaging and collaboration tools that they need to be productive.

The choice of a deployment option depends of several factors, such as your level of in-house messaging expertise, the need for control and customization, and the overall priorities of your IT group. Because you have the flexibility to deploying Exchange as a server or a service, you can let business needs, rather than technology constraints, drive the choice.

For example, policies regarding control of data may require your IT staff to retain complete control of your e-mail infrastructure through an on-premises deployment. Or, the economics of hosted e-mail may permit you to provide hosted mailboxes to employees who don’t have mailboxes today. As the needs of your business evolve, you have the flexibility to provide e-mail services in a way that best fits those needs.

Feature & Benefits

Perhaps the number one advantage of hosting is the peace of mind that comes with a hosted service. With Exchange Online, you gain all the messaging functionality you need with none of the administrative burden. As part of your monthly service, Exchange Online offers:

  • Built-in redundancy for peak performance and availability
  • Server, network, and infrastructure security features
